Before setting up Join the Dots Holly and Emily had, and continue to, work for many different theatre companies including Freshwater Theatre, Théâtre Sans Frontières, Trestle Theatre, Konflux TIE, Bristol Old Vic and Now Press Play and been delivering workshops in schools, universities and community organisations for many years.
is a bilingual drama practitioner, performing and teaching in English and French. She regularly teaches at The International Schools Theatre Association and Le Rosey International School in Switzerland and has also previously run workshops at Shri Ram School and Queen Mary’s School in Delhi with Holly. She currently works as a resident director at the University of Cumbria in the UK.
previously lived in Taiwan where she not only learnt Mandarin Chinese but also devised and directed theatre courses and productions, and used drama as a tool for teaching English as a foreign language. She has trained in Forum Theatre, Improvisation and Comedy, she produces a monthly comedy night in London with her improv team Rhinoceros, and is a longstanding performer for immersive theatre company Gingerline. She is currently resident director of Young Theatre Makers at Tobacco Factory Theatres in Bristol.
